About Me

Hi, I’m Esther/Astarii, I'm an illustrator from Australia. I work digitally, using Procreate.

I’ve always loved all different kinds of art, enjoying experimenting with different mediums and creating characters. In 2020 I got an iPad and Apple Pencil and that is when I began working harder to improve my skills. I started following a lot of digital artists, and learning from them while creating my own style.

My main influences are other digital artists, picture book illustration, and graphic novels. I love impressionist paintings, how they capture light and movement.

Nature and fantasy worlds are my biggest inspirations. With my art I aim to capture the magic and personality of characters and environments with light and colour.

I love being able to translate my thoughts into artwork and capture personalities and environments. I use art to bring stories and characters to life and I enjoy sharing and giving it to others. I currently sell prints of my artworks on Etsy.

I have done graphic design commissions for small businesses and not-for-profits. My self-published picture book, Sylvan Song, is now available on my Etsy store.
